As one of the members of the Board of Directors, I've had the opportunity to see firsthand the incredible impact the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast has on the lives of local children. What has inspired me most is knowing that every child who walks through our doors is surrounded by caring mentors, meaningful opportunities, and the support they need to succeed.
As the new school year begins, we have the chance to ensure every Club member starts the year ready to learn, grow, and thrive. From school supplies and academic support to mentorship and safe spaces after school, your generosity helps set our youth up for success from day one.
Today, I'm asking you to join me in making a difference by supporting Greatness Amplified Giving Day. Every gift—no matter the size—helps prepare local kids for a brighter future and reminds them that their community believes in their potential.
Please make your gift today and help us give every child the strongest possible start to the school year and keep their futures in focus!
Great Futures in Focus
Since 1941, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast has helped young people discover their potential by providing safe, supportive spaces where they can learn, grow, and thrive. Every day, we help youth build brighter futures through programs that strengthen academic success, promote health and well-being, and prepare them for college, careers, and life.
This Giving Day, we're putting Great Futures in Focus by investing in one of the most important moments of a child's year: the start of school.
Our Back 2 School Campaign is much more than a backpack drive. It is an investment in a child's future. By providing backpacks filled with essential school supplies, academic support, and enriching summer learning opportunities, we ensure students begin the school year confident, prepared, and ready to succeed.
Last year alone, we served more than 1,500 students across eight communities - Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Irvine, Newport Beach, Orange, and Santa Ana. But with more than 200,000 youth under the age of 18 living throughout Central Orange County, the need continues to grow.
Together, we can bring more great futures into focus. Your support helps ensure every child has the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to start the school year strong and stay on a path toward lifelong success.
